Student Clubs
A club is a group of students who have come together over a shared interest. This interest could be your shared love of volleyball, or maybe you are table-top gamers? Students in the same program, such as Web and Graphic Design or PDHR, also form clubs as well through us. The College of New Caledonia Students' Union (CNCSU) is responsible for overseeing the clubs systems at the college and getting you started!
Recreational
Clubs
"Never, ever, underestimate the importance of having fun" - Randy Pausch

Recreational clubs are clubs that revolve around activities that bring students together to destress. These are the proto-typical clubs that you see in those college movies you've watched when you were younger.

We are always in need of more recreational clubs! Please let us know if you want to start one!
Activist Clubs
"Every moment is an organizing opportunity, every person a potential activist, every minute a chance to change the world." - Dolores Huerta

Activist clubs are clubs that centre around fighting for political and social change. These clubs are ones that are offering spaces for those who are looking for representation or just a chill place to hang out. If you are a person looking to help make the world a safer space - perhaps these are the clubs for you!
Sports Clubs
"In a competition, there's always winners and losers. And I think everyone is here to win, which makes it fun for us all." - Antonio Brown

Sports clubs are currently operating in collaboration with CNC Recreation Services. Students that sign up for these clubs will periodically get invitations to tournaments from CNC. Students can choose to make these into official clubs should students want to host their own tournaments.
Academic
Clubs
"Find a group of people who challenge and inspire you, spend a lot of time with them, and it will change your life." - Amy Poehler

Academic Clubs are clubs attached to programs. Typically, students who want to fundraise for class projects/events go through the CNCSU club program. These clubs are the only ones that are exclusive to just students in the relevant program.
